What makes Yellow Spruce coffee so special?

People always ask me, "Brian, what makes Yellow Spruce's coffee so special?"

This question stems from the thinking that as entrepreneurs, we should think our product is good. My answer, however, is really not coffee related (although I'll stack up our coffee with many of the major coffee purveyors around.) My answer always reverts to our interactions with our customers...customer service is key.

We believe that when someone walks through our doors and they are made to feel special in a way that makes them smile on their way out, then (mysteriously) it makes the coffee taste so much better.

We hire folks with these traits, and we train on the importance of service...the Yellow Spruce way.
